Yay it's summer!

Today is about gardening, barn chores and critter enjoyment. Apparently it won't be about this....

but more about this!

Day 3- check and now it's Day 4!!!!

Whew! Was yesterday ever tough! Too many things to get done and a weency bit grumpykins...Oh well, I plodded through it, happy to climb into bed with my "girlies" but not before seeing this...

Yep, Today is going to be a MUCH better day. 

Day 2

Now here is a "Fat Dog". Crosby has been getting a bit "round in the rear" for some time. He loves his chow and any treats that he can snag. His response to my invitation to participate in the challenge was a snarky "Well I chase cats plenty for exercize, so back it on up!" All I can say to excuse his poor manners is that the dog seems to be cranky now that I've cut back his kibble. At least we can both agree on that! I know that I'm missing my own food bowl! This afternoon was a hunger challenge.

Day 1

These two beauties are my "girlies". Iris and Lily love me the most of all, good- bad- fat- thin, as long as I have a lap to sit in or arms to carry them. They are by my side from the moment I walk in the door- fabulous! Well, I've only told them about the "Fat Dog Challenge". They laughed, thinking that it was a howl. "Fat Dog Challenge"!?"There are no fat dogs around here" Lily chortled at me. With a sheepish grin, I pointed to my hips. "I'm the fat dog this time Lily." Lily walked to her water dish and said "Okie doke, have a drink of water." This is good news to my ears, the girlies are 100% behind me.
